Critters’ Day

On July 25, 2019 the library held a Critters’ Day for the Craig County Daycare Center. Jessica Hunt worked with the daycare and Susan Stimling (Friends of the Library, President) brought all the critters for our day. The children enjoyed the nice warm weather while they held, touched, looked, and interacted with hissing cockroaches, tortoises, frogs, chameleon, tarantulas, and a bearded dragon. After everyone had a great time learning new things about the critters, the children went over and planted their flowers in the garden. Once everyone learned new things and planted their flowers, they were able to enjoy juice and cupcakes after having an adventurous day.
